In order to apply for a active Field Study a student must have completed the first two semesters, in good standing, current semester without warning, of either the Advanced Gunsmithing Certificate or Associate Science Firearms Technology Degree.
Selected candidates are responsible for their own transportation, travel, lodging, and meal expenses to get to the site and during the field study experience.
Depending on the specific field study opportunity, the application may require completion of a background check, drug testing, proof of citizenship or alternative eligibility, identification documentation and additional evidence of qualifications as deemed necessary by the partner.
Those applicants who are considered for the field study will be contacted by the sponsor for a phone and/or video interview. Not all candidates will be selected.
