The Advanced Security Practitioner Certificate is designed for the IT professional who is looking to gain special skills and credentials which will allow advancement into the world of Cyber Security. Advanced concepts and strategies are covered which encompass the entire network and build upon the concepts presented in the Cisco Program. Those who complete this program and function at the level of the program curriculum will have a solid foundation for work in a cyber-security or information assurance centered career.

Completion Requirements

To earn a ASPP Certificate, a student must do the following:

  • Complete 13 credit hours of program coursework online through the Institute
  • Complete the program with a minimum grade point average of 2.0 or above
  • Complete all program requirements within six months
  • Meet all financial obligations to the Institute
Completion of the Advanced Security Practitioner Certificate Program does not require additional specialized training, practicums, or externships.
