Al is passionate about the success and safety of our armed first responders as well as all participants in the shooting sports. When asked why SDI appealed to him, Al shared, “I wanted to teach at SDI in order to leverage my past experiences to help promote safety and professionalism in the shooting industry.” He says what he enjoys most his learning new things from students in every section of every class he works with.
Al loves to learn and is very curious about anything involving technology; “I would love to learn more about advances in directed energy devices for terrestrial and non terrestrial applications.” He says his idea of a perfect day starts with a big breakfast with his sons, followed by a trip to the range before an afternoon hunt for whitetail deer “that ends with a large steaming gut pile.”
