The CompTIA Certificate is designed to help those who would like to begin, or are in the early stages of their career involving Information Technology. The program covers the fundamental but professional level knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and security. Those who complete this program and function at the level of the program curriculum will have a solid foundation from which an Information Technology career begins.
To earn a CompTIA Certificate, a student must do the following:
- Complete 34 credit hours of program coursework online through the Institute
- Complete the program with a minimum grade point average of 2.0 or above
- Complete all program requirements within one year
- Meet all financial obligations to the Institute
