CONTINUING YOUR EDUCATION

SDI has established educational partnerships with select schools that grant SDI graduates an opportunity to apply SDI credits towards additional degree programs. In some cases, SDI grads also qualify for discounted tuition rates at these schools.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

As part of an articulation agreement with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), graduates of SDI’s Certificate in Uncrewed Technology – Aerial Systems program may now transfer up to their entire 16 credit hours towards a program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Embry-Riddle will review all credits completed with a grade of “C” or higher as outlined by the United States Council for Higher Education Accreditation guidelines. Students transitioning to Embry-Riddle must complete a degree program that consists of at least 120 credit hours.

Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), Embry-Riddle is renowned for its broad spectrum of associate, bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs. American Public University System (APUS)

As part of an articulation agreement with American Public University System (APUS), graduates of SDI’s Associate of Science in Firearms Technology degree program may now transfer up to their entire 60 credit hours towards a program at one of two schools in the APUS family: American Military University or American Public University.

Both APUS schools are online, regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and offer 200+ undergraduate and graduate programs (including dozens of Bachelor’s Degree options). Transfer credits will be assessed for grade requirements.

Grand Canyon University (GCU)

As part of a new Educational Alliance Partnership with Grand Canyon University (GCU), graduates of SDI’s Associate of Science in Firearms Technology degree program may now transfer up to their entire 60 credit hours towards the following two GCU programs: Bachelor of Science in Applied Management and a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management! Additionally, SDI grads are eligible for a 10% tuition scholarship at GCU.

Grand Canyon University, located in Phoenix, AZ, is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and offers certificate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs (including dozens of Bachelor’s Degree options).
