Your essay should be submitted as one .pdf file containing a cover page, double-spaced, and 12-point Times New Roman font. Your viewpoint and the essay's purpose should be clearly established and sustained. The essay should follow the conventions of Standard American English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.) and not exceed 1,000 words per essay.

Instructions: In 1,000 words or less, write an essay that addresses the following questions. Use specific examples and personal reflections to provide a clear understanding of your passion for gunsmithing, personal growth, and commitment to craftsmanship.

  1. Dedication to Craftsmanship: Describe what craftsmanship means to you and how you apply it in your work, studies, or personal projects.

  2. Career Aspirations: What are your long-term goals in the firearms industry, and how will earning your certificate or degree help you achieve them? Share the specific steps you plan to take.

  3. Mentorship and Learning: Share a time when you learned an important lesson from a mentor or teacher. How did it shape your path?

  4. Resilience Through Challenges: Describe a challenge or setback you faced in your pursuit of gunsmithing or another technical skill. How did you respond, and what did you learn about yourself in the process?

  5. Commitment to Community: How do you plan to use your skills to positively impact your community or the next generation of gunsmiths?
