1. Application Process

Submit your application at sdi.edu/apply-info.

Use the credentials sent to your email to log into your applicant portal.

Fill out the necessary information, ensuring accuracy, especially with your full legal name.

Review your selected program details, including credit hours, tuition, and total costs.

Ensure you check the final review page before hitting ‘submit.’

2. Submit Essential Documents

Email a photo (both sides) of your valid, non-military government-issued ID to your Admissions Rep.

Request official transcripts from ALL of your previous schools to be sent directly to SDI via:

3. Secure Your Funding

Determine your monthly contribution towards tuition and fees.

Depending on your funding source:

  • VA benefits? Apply at va.gov/education.
  • Department of Defense Tuition Assistance? Visit your Installation Education Services Office.
  • Interested in Federal Student Aid? Complete the FAFSA at FAFSA.gov (SDI’s school code: 042449).

Pro Tip: You should never have to pay money to complete the FAFSA. Only use the official website and avoid third-party scams.

4. Prep for Success

Once your funding is set, your Student Success Coach will discuss your academic expectations, attendance, resources, and more.

Attend the virtual orientation about a week before your course begins.

Await your first shipment of SDI tools and resources.
