The 1098T forms for the 2023 tax year are now available on the student portal. You can locate the form on your student portal under the My Finances section of the selection menu, under the View 1098T link. If you do not see a form for 2023 at this link, you do not meet the criteria for a 1098T for the 2023 tax year.

If you have any questions about the 1098T process, please reach out to your Financial Services Advisor. However, if you have any questions specific to how the 1098T forms are used for tax preparation purposes or the eligibility requirements for receiving the form, please consult a tax professional or use the IRS.gov website for reference.

SDI utilizes a learning management platform as your online classroom.

Simply refer to the login information you received via email to gain access to your Student Portal and/or Online Classroom. If you don’t remember your login info or have lost it, call (480) 314-2102 or email logins@sdi.edu.

The Student Portal, which differs from the online classroom, is designed to address the information needs of students, including:

• Access to your academic records (including academic progress overview, grades, and class schedule)
• Student Account information (including your ledger card, billing statements, and receipts)

Sonoran Desert Institute has partnered with Parchment to improve your transcript ordering experience! To order your official SDI transcript, you must submit a request through Parchment Exchange. You will either need to login to an existing account, or you will be required to create an account with Parchment to request your transcript.

Once you create an account, follow the steps to have your official transcript sent via mail or electronically secured. In support of continuing education as well as personal and professional pursuits, SDI provides transcripts at no cost to the student.

For paper transcripts, if you select overnight delivery with FedEx, you will be responsible for the fees associated with that delivery option. FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes and does not deliver on Saturdays and Sundays. If you are concerned about a delay in processing your order, please contact transcripts@sdi.edu.

Parchment Help Center

It’s important to us that our students have access to tools that not only make them better students, but also make them better citizens. If you haven’t registered to vote, please do so—it’s your right and civic duty!

SDI is proud to partner with Tutor.com to provide personalized support to students through 24/7 online tutoring. Students can utilize Tutor.com at no charge for assistance with all general education courses as well as review and feedback of any written assignments throughout the length of their program. Students may also use this service to obtain feedback on career-related documents, such as resumes, cover letters, and letters of recommendation for various employment opportunities.

Sonoran Desert Institute is committed to creating a positive environment for all students. We have established processes and procedures to ensure students have a positive student experience throughout their time at SDI. Students should review SDI’s Student Grievance Procedures to determine the appropriate steps for quick resolution.
